Tampa Fishing Charters Report:
Snook Fishing Tampa Bay.
Here we are at the end of November and there is still bait all over the flats. The main attraction for me right now happens to be snook. This is the time of the year when snook feed heavily getting ready for the winter. Once we get one or two more cold fronts the bait and the snook will be non-existent. My last few Fishing Charters have produced good numbers of fish.
Most of the snook we have been catching are between 18-25 inches with an occasional 30-34 inch fish. On a recent fishing trip with CJ and Emily, we caught a bunch of snook in the morning. Then the tide moved and and we changed tactics a bit. I moved to an area were there are submerged rocks off the shore. The first couple of casts yielded some snook. After that we could only catch redfish. Not a bad problem to have. All of the redfish we caught were between 25-28 inches.
All in all, it has been a pretty good week of fishing. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we do not get any bad cold fronts for the next couple of weeks.
Stealth Fishing Charters shirts, hats and buffs are coming soon. Thanks to My Shirt Fund for all of their help. They recently made me a few embroidered hats and came out awesome.
